It has come to my attention that there is a bug in the software that causes the "back' link provided on error pages to dump everything you typed into your post. For example, if you forget to put in a title, it will take you to the error page, but the 'back' link will send you back to a blank text-entry box. This has also happened with posts that were longer than the maximum default allowed.

I have increased the maximum allowable post to 10,000 characters (its default was 5500), so length should not be an issue for most of us from here on out.

HOWEVER: (in the interest of fair warning) If you are doing a lengthy or involved post, and you are concerned that you might lose your work, please copy the text to your clipboard **before** you hit the "post" button so that you can salvage your post if you hit an error window.
