Hi all,

Some of you may have read this before, but I thought it was rather interesting :-)

Really? I was there in '04 with the Pre-Collegiate Program in Early American History, College of William and Mary, and we got to look over all the artifacts, (Including the Cataloging and storage rooms, very neat!) and it wasn't there then.  I couldn't find the date on the article, but then that may be due only to my incompetence.
this also means the Scotts were here earlier than I remember reading about them!

Steve,
The date, located at the top of the article right under the title and to the left of the author's name, is 27 July 2006.  From my read of the article, this is a recent find, so the pistol would not have been among the artifacts you reviewed back in 2004.

ok I'm just blind then, which is what I thought might be the case.
Thanks.
