Can anyone give me reference to what food was being prepared in the Jacobite camps, i need proper reference, i have a good idea of what was in the camps but have not read any books with a direct reference. can anyone help?

Hi Ian,

The only references I've read mention bread, bisscuits and cheese. Neil Johnstone told me (if I remember right) that this is also mentioned in the Ogilvie orderly books. I don't think the food is at all mentioned in the Appins orderly books.
