well, shirts run anywhere from 5-15 dollars, plus cloth costs.  I run on the theory that I have like, no money, and most others in the hobby are in the same spot, so if I can get some measurements, I'm pretty in expensive.  oh, and I've got a thing against seams fraying, so I make sure they can't ever do that, without you first cutting them up with your sword.
the only problem now is, I'm backed up for a few monthes, 'cause I do everything by hand.

Aye, and Irishmen willing to fight for the Bonnie Prince and King James are welcome at our Sunday morning 18th century Scottish Presbyterian worship services, whether you be Catholic, Presbyterian, or heathen.
I like your motto ("et les Pomme de Terre"--spoken like a true Irishman!).

I shall endeavor to attend gentilemen, although I may look for a nearby Catholic mass, no offense meant Vicar Abernethy.  although, after a fraction of a second of examination of conscience, maybe I should come to both...
and you all know I wouldn't be there if Les Pommes de Terre weren't there!

I should think that if HRH Prince Charles Edward Stuart himself, good papist that he is, can find it in his royal heart to grace our humble Presbyterian Lord's Day worship service with his royal presence, you might not find it too incredibly hard to do the same.  That I will leave between the good Lord and you.  I do know that a right proper rummage of the various encampments never fails to turn up a tattie or two, so you will not be suffering in that respect.

oh, I have no arguement with protestants, sir, only Englishmen, who just so happen to be protestants.  but in real life I'm a faithful Catholic too, so I should take the time to go to mass, as it is part of my obligation to the Lord.
by the way, were there catholic priests in the Jacobite ranks or no, or is that another topic in it's self?

I have no doubt that there was at least one brave Catholic priest accompanying HRH Prince Charles Edward Stuart on his campaign, to be found in an encampment or hovering near a field of battle to adminster last rites to the fallen.  We don't have the service of a priest or one who wishes to portray a priest at our re-enactment events (I am a Baptist in the 21st century, and will go as far as to portray a Presbyterian vicar in the 18th century as long as I am not asked to baptize any infants--read my post of 9/4/06 in the "First Person Persona" thread under the "Persona Development"/"Men's Roles" forum and of 11/2/05 and 12/8/05 in the "What's Going On With You?" thread under the "General"/"History, Real & Imagined" forum if you haven't done so already).
