Hello all!
Now I know there are quite a few reenactment groups that do the 1745-46 upsisings. I know that the Clan Donnachaidh group does some 1689, and even earlier reenactment. Also the Clan of the Wolf does some 1730s reenactment. But are there anyone who does and 1715 uprising reenactment? There are plenty of skirmishing and standardraising to do, and some battles! There are many interesting characters to portray, and small differences in clothing and weapons. And it may well be so that broadswords and targes were more frequent in the 1715 uprising because of the 1728unarming act!
Why doesn't people reenact this interesting uprising?!?!?!
Brian, you've written some excellent articles on the '45 and some on the late 17th century. How about writing one on the '15?

Cheers,
Henrik
