We held our May event this past weekend at Fort Plain New York and it was a great time despite a few challenges.

Despite a smaller then usual turnout we still made our presence felt due to everyone efforts. Besides the daily tactical battle we had highland games which included the participation of a local police officer, croquet, archery and the usual amount of interaction and fellowship.  The weather for the weekend ranged from warm and sunny to Scotland-like drizzle and showers- a real mixed bag!

The next event will be our encampment at the Niagara Celtic Festival September 14-15 in Olcott New York. This is a great event and we have a significant presence at it. This is something you should consider!

Units participating this weekend were:
Clan Cameron
Clan MacGregor
Clan Chattan
Irish Picquets
Life Guards

Thank you to those who came out for your willingness to do what was necessary to make the weekend a success. I salute you.

A cheer for the Army of King James...hip, hip huzzah!

For God, for Scotland and for King James
